Alongside my oil paintings, I also create work on paper using soft pastels. These pieces capture the same immediacy and response to light, often completed quickly to preserve the freshness of the moment.

Working on paper allows for different mark-making possibilities and a distinctive textural quality. The medium is direct and responsive – perfect for capturing fleeting effects of light and atmosphere.

Each piece is an original artwork, not a reproduction or print. Like my oil paintings, these works are one-of-a-kind.

Framing recommendations

Works on paper require framing behind glass for protection. I'm happy to advise on framing options, or you can choose your own framer to create something that suits your interior perfectly.
